The Vintage Hoover Emporium

hello iv allways had an interest in domestic apps from being a small boy . i can remember being terified of my mums hoover [612] and our hoover twintub [not sure of the model it was the first hoover with a spindryer ] i would see the wet clothes go in the spindryer and com out dry what happend to the water? . i have four hoovers the afore mentioned 612 a700 a652a and a pink constelation . i dont care for the later machines although i have repaired countless juniors for relatives .after leaving school i went to work as an apprentice for a local hoover dealer .inow repair tv sets for a living [not very exiting but there you have it ]  my mum tells that when i was about four or five she was vacuuming the stairs with the constelation the phone rang she went downstairs to answer it  while she was was down there i sucked the water out of the loo with  you guessed it  . my dad dried it out and put it in the airing cuboard for a week or too  and it was fine  [i could have been fried] ok guys thats enough about me  cheers
